Just got sucked into Sons of Anarchy. Currently chewing on season 3.
I'm also utterly addicted to SkyRim (for months now). I'm currently a level 20 High Elf Mage that's just turned vampire (by accident). Not sure how to cure it since vampirism is a disease. I thought it'd be fun, but being a vampire is kind of a pain in the ass and if you don't feed on a sleeping people in the middle of the night, you become blood starved and can't go into towns without an angry mob running you down.
Been painting this for this charity auction. Not done with it yet. Soon, though.
Been painting this as an exercise in oils. Also as a "Suck It" to Jerm who was giving me some 'paint by numbers' smack talk. This thing's been in the closet for years and I remembered it being there when Jerm brought it up. Once done, I told him I'd frame it and he could have it. Just for being a jerk. ;)

This text message exchange with Willie made me laugh recently.
Me: What's the farts[backspace]...eats?
Willie: Quesadillas. Vote for Pedro. You?
Me: Rib-turd[backspace]...eyes and green beans. Or Flats.
Since we're on the subject, every time I try to text, "What are you guys up to?" it always does this first:
Me: What are you tits[backspace]...guys up to?

And the front page article about Breaking Bad. Would love to hang out with Cranston for an afternoon.
In dance class, we've learned two new steps for Tango and Waltz. They have some silly fancy name but they're some nice footworky moves. Makes it kinda look like we know what we're doing. Its been over a year since I've had a pedicure but when I think to go in, I also remember how badly my toes get torn up from dancin'. Seems a lost cause.
In Fat Saga news: I've been holding steady at -8lbs. My eating habits are still going well but the occasional wrench gets thrown in from time to time. Gym soreness is still awesome. Been going twice a week. Lame, I know. Will light a fire to get in there more often....maybe.
FOCUS, ME, FOCUS!!

WTH Weds: AHS & The Yellow Wallpaper
Matthew's been listening to me for years, talkin' about The Yellow Wallpaper.
A story that stuck with me after a community college literature class I took in '99? I think.
The imagery Charlotte described was fascinating to me....all the "what ifs" you could derive from it.
It made me so insanely happy that it was referenced on this week's American Horror Story.
And I had two "I told you so" moments...
1. When Tate unzipped the rubber suit.
2. When they committed crazy ass Viv.
I feel good about going into a mid-season finale....
wait....
are they doing that like they are with Walking Dead?
They said 'next Wednesday on...." right?
Eh...I still feel good.
On a side note, its a little bit funny that when American Horror Story was done, Matthew flipped it from the dvr to a random skinemax flick called Life On Top.
Then changed it to Time Bandits after shouting, "midgets!" just as Life On Top was getting to the final pocketchange* shot.
-------------------------------------
*haha...get it? pocketchange. cuz softcore doesn't exactly have money shots.

Suckit - American Horror Story
OK....seriously....here's what I gotta say/think about episode 3:
[begin stream]
Tara's mom (from TrueBlood) is a pretty damn good actress.
Bobby keeps waking up outside. Uh oh.
When he cries...you gotta drink.
Daughter is a punk. (of course)
Viv reminds me of my mother's boss, Gloria.
I think everyone's dead except Viv.
Viv is the one on drugs and was walkin' around with the knife at the very beginning.
Since she's crazy, she sees everyone as ghosts. (that's my theory, turds)
And all the ghost men see Moira the Maid as a hot young POA.
And Hayden's dead too...that's why Bobby still sees her and the whole "eating for two"....
She died while "having the procedure done" or did she really come back to see him without getting it done?
and now Burnface has taken care of that for Bobby. So its moot.
And now Moira is stuck here forever under the gazebo that Bobby built.
Man....this show is difficult.
And I love it.
And why do we know whatsherface has been shot in the head?
We haven't seen how she died....we only know that she did.
*sigh*

MM - American Horror Story 2
Finally was able to watch AHS Episode 2. Ready?
[begin stream]
YAY a Laugh-in clip!! I love that show.
Don't answer your door. You know you'll die.
Was that Hitchcock music?
Awww nurse got hog-tied & stabbed in the back.
Is Bobby gonna cry in this episode? ooooo I hope so.
Tate's a badass. (I'm gonna try harder to remember names)*.
And wifey's preggers with a rubberbaby.
YAY THE CREDITS!!
They're my favorite part.
Scratchface is in disguise & has white hairs.
I wonder if they'll play Mirah for all the daughter scenes.
James Wong is one of the producers. I hadn't noticed that before.
I love that the neighbors are always finding their way into the house.
Glad our neighbors aren't like that.
Close.
But not that bad.
I like the elevator chick. She's groovy.
Bianca the half girl.
Bobby's tryin' to get rid of Tate.
I love the ipecac cupcakes.
BOBBY'S CRYIN' AGAIN!!! w00t!!!
Cuz he's lyin' about goin' outta town. What a weenie.
Wait...did she say "Aunt Viv"?? Bobby's knocked up his niece?!
I'm confused.
Constance rules.
OOOOOOooooooh...groovy Bianca is a ghosthunter freak with friends.
Uh oh - shit's crazy when Tate's the one saving you.
HAHA...she's eating the ipecac cupcake.
Constance, you old cougar, you.
Addy's a cockblocker & has a bad girl room of mirrors.
That's not nice.
Bianca's about to lose half of herself.
Yay...ghosts takin' care of their peoples.
"I'll get the shovel. You get the bleach." is such a great line.
Psssshhh...selling the house. Riiiiiiight.
[end stream]
---------------------------------------------
*Except Bobby's. He will always be Bobby.

TT - American Horror Story
We dvr'd it and are just sittin' down to watch it.
I like how many times they say "shit".
And strong opening.
BEST opening credits since True Blood.
Apparently, the "mongoloid" tends to spit in the cooking.
Evil is always in the attic.
Bobby's a douchebag psychiatrist who got busted "pile driving" one of his students.
So the family moves into some big old house with a past & weird wall paintings.
Y'know....as a "new start" or "2nd chance".
6ft Under mom is a creepy maid.
Bobby sees her as a hot young poa.
Bobby's client is a skull faced kid who imagines he's some great serial killer who puts the moves on Bobby's high school daughter who cuts herself so she can feel.
Bobby also gets naked.
I ain't mad at that.
He also hatebates in the window.
HAHA...he's cryin' again.*
I LOVE THIS SHOW!!
The piano string noises are effective, the Weasley twins are creepy, Jessica Lange is awesome & bitchy, Adelaide is adorable....
Bobby's wife gets banged by some rubberdude while Bobby is playin' with the stove.
Bobby's kid client and daughter scheme to bring justice to the school bitch bully....that was some fun crazy shit. Lots of screaming, flashes of bloody teeth, and the bitch bully gets scratched up in her FACE.
Now there's some burn dude and the make up is amazing and he's tellin' his arson story.
Holy crap that was fun.
I'm in it for the season, fo'sho.
------------------------------------------------
*Matt used to watch The Practice and McDermott's character, Bobby, cried in almost every episode. I didn't like that show.

Sincerest Apologies & Other News
Holy crap....I really haven't been on here for a while, huh??

Thank you, Kayla for calling me out recently.
So, my apology is two fold....
1. For not posting here in a while because we've been super busy and I just haven't felt like sitting down and writing anything.
and
2. For not finishing out my feetzblog for Halloween. I did just post the remaining photos I had on the camera, so those are there for your viewing enjoyment. The other ideas I had, I might wait until next year to do.
I learned a few things during that project.
1. Make a list ahead of time of your ideas to carry out the month. I thought I could do this on a whim and, for the most part, that's how it worked out.....but towards the end of the month, I started to run out of ideas, ambition, and time.
2. People really do check this crap out.
3. Its a really fun challenge and, maybe, in the future, I'll have the balls to put the rest of me in these photos instead of just my feet. But hey....y'gotta start somewhere right??
4. My camera and I are closer now. Bonding with your camera and experimenting leads to really cool shots....and some mistakes. But that's all about learning as you go.
I also had 2 more movies slated to review, but after look at them and getting some shit from Matthew about how long & wordy they were, I decided to save you an eyeball workout.
Maybe, for the next Friday the 13th, I'll bring some ideas back instead of waiting until next Halloween.
Which brings us current, right?
HI!! Happy Friggin' Middle of November!!
Shit.
This part of the year shouldn't even have separate month names since now they're just referred to as The Holidays.
Sears started doing their Xmas layaway commercials on Reconsidering Columbus Day....even going so far as to mention "Santa" by name. bleh.
And now those stupid overstock.com commercials have started singing at us while we're watching The Walking Dead.
Seriously, between that show and Dexter this season, I've had tv orgasms going for the past two weeks or so.
Have recently started watching Psych too which has given me fits of laughter.
Netflix is a beautiful thing.
ALSO, picked up Sims 3 on xbox360 and have lived/died through Dusty Bibles as a trial to get familiar with silly controls and limitations that are a little different than the mac/pc version.
Now, I'm working on a SheHulk character who is actually green, favorite color is purple, she's a genius, brave, athletic, and hot headed. She's a badass.
Last weekend, we attended Chrystal & Chad's lovely wedding.
It looked a lot like this:

This weekend, we're shippin' up to Boston for Matthew's birthday weekend - going with friends and meeting up with some folks we know up there. Good times are abound. We head out tomorrow so I'll be sure to update you on Monday how the trip went & share some of the deets.

Kudos to the Kraft folks for including this subtle and clever moment in their recent mac&cheese commercial.
Not only am I a fan of him popping a balloon and kicking over the table, but I find this transaction to be particularly (and educationally/historically) humorous (bonus points if you can see why).

On the Airplane - 5.21.2010
Written during the flight from Orlando to Gatwick.
****************************
5.21.2010
HA HA HA On our way to AMS & was looking for a pen in my bag but only found 2 red pens (for when I'm reading Kim Harrison and Rhiannon Frater books) before finally finding a blue one. Oh! And a sharpie. I didn't even know I had red pens.
British Airways kicks ass!!
In flight movie selection is everything we would've been watching on our laptops sucking up battery power. Starting with Blind Side since I've started that one previously and never finished it. Maybe Lovely Bones or Single Man next.
Matt has declared that he's going to get his 1st tattoo in AMS.
Just finished the in flight dinner. The vodka & red wine were FREE!!
Totally makes up for the shit mango thing cheesecake whatever the fuck that was.
I've never been so happy on a flight before.
Lou Holz's lateral lisp cracks me up.
Lovely Bones is next.
Blind Side was good. Gave me warm fuzzies. YAY White People Saving The Day!!
We need more drinks. So far, since dinner, they've only brought the Duty (doodie) Free carts around. No, I don't need a watch or perfume. I need more vodka.
5.5 hrs left.
Matt & I have considered joining the mile high club.
3 hrs left.
Matt's sleeping.
I watched the Lovely Bones. meh. Was OK. The music was good. I loved the book when I read it. Seems like the movie lost something that the book had. Maybe cuz of Marky Mark's "say hi to your mother for me" voice.
Tried to nap to some new age music but it wasn't working.
So now I'm watching Top Gear. Its the Bolivia special.
Matt's so cute. Napping while Alien is playing on his tv thing.
Just like at home.
Less than 2 hrs left.
Finished Top Gear & now watching Single Man.
Matt's awake & watching some russian flick.
I'm thirsty. That Bolivia episode when they're driving through the desert made my mouth all dry. Probably more likely that its the cabin air.
45 mins left.
My butt hurts.

Unacceptable.
Completely unacceptable.
So we're flippin' through the channels and RuPaul's Drag Race is on and we stop for a minute cuz I love drag and the show is super entertaining and even Henry Rollins has been a judge.
Slight coincidence that today I'd also been watching makeup tutorials on YouTube by Petrilude who does some really cool stuff like this and this.
So we're watching it and RuPaul and all the ladyboys are beautiful and fab-U-lous and then we see this......
While I can appreciate a good mustache, that dirt lip shit ain't cute on RuPaul.
No.
Uh uh. Not cute.
RuPaul is beautiful.
RuPaul does not have a mustache.
A mustache confuses me.
On a side note...
You know how I was bitching that my home office turns into an easy bake oven just before sunset?
Here's a picture of my current ghetto curtain (made out of a sheet of newsprint).....
