Just got sucked into Sons of Anarchy. Currently chewing on season 3.
I'm also utterly addicted to SkyRim (for months now). I'm currently a level 20 High Elf Mage that's just turned vampire (by accident). Not sure how to cure it since vampirism is a disease. I thought it'd be fun, but being a vampire is kind of a pain in the ass and if you don't feed on a sleeping people in the middle of the night, you become blood starved and can't go into towns without an angry mob running you down.
Been painting this for this charity auction. Not done with it yet. Soon, though.
Been painting this as an exercise in oils. Also as a "Suck It" to Jerm who was giving me some 'paint by numbers' smack talk. This thing's been in the closet for years and I remembered it being there when Jerm brought it up. Once done, I told him I'd frame it and he could have it. Just for being a jerk. ;)

This text message exchange with Willie made me laugh recently.
Me: What's the farts[backspace]...eats?
Willie: Quesadillas. Vote for Pedro. You?
Me: Rib-turd[backspace]...eyes and green beans. Or Flats.
Since we're on the subject, every time I try to text, "What are you guys up to?" it always does this first:
Me: What are you tits[backspace]...guys up to?

And the front page article about Breaking Bad. Would love to hang out with Cranston for an afternoon.
In dance class, we've learned two new steps for Tango and Waltz. They have some silly fancy name but they're some nice footworky moves. Makes it kinda look like we know what we're doing. Its been over a year since I've had a pedicure but when I think to go in, I also remember how badly my toes get torn up from dancin'. Seems a lost cause.
In Fat Saga news: I've been holding steady at -8lbs. My eating habits are still going well but the occasional wrench gets thrown in from time to time. Gym soreness is still awesome. Been going twice a week. Lame, I know. Will light a fire to get in there more often....maybe.
FOCUS, ME, FOCUS!!
brai-nure [bray-noor] (n.) manure from my brain. as in, crap I see and think about and stuff.

Rise of Nightmares - ugh
Remember when I was excited about this game?
I signed up to gamefly a few months back and this was the first one I wanted to check out.
First time I played it...got through the tutorial and opening bit until the charater's train crashed. Which is probably a good 10mins of game play, figuring out movements and watching little cutscenes.
Then I had to go somewhere, so I shut it off because at the beginning it says the game autosaves and provides no 'save' in the options menus.
Stupid me.
So, the next time I pick it up, I have to do the opening 10mins again. Which has been cut down to about 6 since I've done it before but still wait through cut scenes.
I get to the train crash again and have to run in place across the top of a train car.
--Shit...I'm wearing the wrong bra and shoes for this, so I throw some gym gear on.--
Then another 4mins spent trying to figure out how the game tracks my running, with dying a few times, and a little frustration.
Then 3 mins in a cave scene, a swimming scene where you flail your arms like you're swimming, and a buncha minutes just walking and looking around.
And then I had to go off and do something else again.
So that 2nd Round of game play was maybe 15mins (minus the time it took to change clothes).
This time, I knew that when I went back to it, and because THERE'S NO FREAKIN' SAVE!!, I'd hafta do the opening crap ALL over again which would be 15mins just to get up to something new and... just....SOMETHING.
Weeks go by, and the other night I picked it up again....got through the opening crap and all the way to the graveyard....
20 or so minutes of gameplay. With the right shoes & bra on.
I paused it and ran upstairs to look up how to save that shit.
Cuz I had to go again.
Yahoo Answers helped me out a bit.
Not really.
It was mostly just people pissed off about the same thing.
So, because I had to go, I ended up just keeping it paused and upon my return home,
played for another 20mins, got to Act III, yelled multiple curse words when I kept dying, and was getting tired (even the xbox was asking me if I needed to take a break).
So I shut that shit off, threw it back into the mailing sleeve, slammed it in the mailbox, and stomped off to bed.
The End.

Also - Rise of Nightmares
VERY excited about this game. I hope it doesn't suck.
Here, this one has funny music and more blood-n-guts.
And this one gives you a fun little story.
I saved the best one for last.

WhateverTheHell Wednesday 2
This week's been rough so far. YARGH!!!
There's nothing to look forward to this weekend the way there had been the past two weeks, so I don't have that carrot dangling in front of me to keep me moving forward.
Although, we go to Toronto next week.....so there's that to look forward to.
And there's Weird Science over at Enzian tonight. yay!
They tried to do it last month but got stormed out.
We went to see Face/Off there last night.
That's my favorite Nick Cage movie, if there is such a thing. (Adaptation doesn't count cuz that was a really good flick.)
Most people say, "Raising Arizona", but I've never seen it from beginning to end....only in bits, and those bits didn't seem that interesting for whatever reason.
You know what does look interesting??
The latest Mortal Kombat.
Our copy should be here in the next day or so.
Anything that looks like this has got to be a winner.
C'mon, baby - don't lose your head over this. Oh....damn....
And as a side note, I'm just now realizing that when my page pops up, the embedded videos are getting chopped in half.
That sucks.
Hopefully, you're savvy enough to know that you can click the title and it'll take you to youtube to view full frame, but it'd be nice to be able to see ALL the crap I post here instead of just half the crap.
So, I'll be fixing that this week.
Anything else?....
Comments, questions.....???
Dismissed.

I Am A YouTube Nerd
I watch a lot of crap on youtube.
I also watch a lot of not crap on youtube.
We've all been aware of youtube and everyone's seen some retarded cat video or a baby doing something funny or a dude getting hit in the balls or a snippet of some Japanese game show.
But about 2 years ago (and I was late to the party), I stumbled across this video.
Which took me to one of this kid's videos.
Then I saw these guys doing their local commercials.
And then I found one of this fella's videos.
Then this kid popped up.
Which took me to this guy.
And that's only a handful of my favorites.
And for my cousins - there's always this guy.
In a nutshell, it didn't take me long to discover a massive entertainment community all webbed together..... some really really talented people doing some really cool things with just a camera and editing software.
And right around the time I started paying attention, they were starting to make $ by doing this. By becoming youtube partners and getting paid by advertisers.
Now, a handful of these folks are making their living this way.
If you shop at Hot Topic, you're probably aware that they have a whole section dedicated to internet celebrities. Most are from youtube.
I watch more youtube than I do regular TV these days.
SO, now that I've outted myself and my love for these youtubers.....I also have to admit that I'm going to this on Saturday.
Do you see that friggin' line up!?!?
That's almost everyone I just mentioned as my favorites.
I'll be the oldest girl there wearing my wheezywaiter shirt and getting video of everything and buying more tshirts and saying hi to folks I've only watched on youtube for the past 2 or 3 yrs.
And I can't freakin' wait!!

Sincerest Apologies & Other News
Holy crap....I really haven't been on here for a while, huh??

Thank you, Kayla for calling me out recently.
So, my apology is two fold....
1. For not posting here in a while because we've been super busy and I just haven't felt like sitting down and writing anything.
and
2. For not finishing out my feetzblog for Halloween. I did just post the remaining photos I had on the camera, so those are there for your viewing enjoyment. The other ideas I had, I might wait until next year to do.
I learned a few things during that project.
1. Make a list ahead of time of your ideas to carry out the month. I thought I could do this on a whim and, for the most part, that's how it worked out.....but towards the end of the month, I started to run out of ideas, ambition, and time.
2. People really do check this crap out.
3. Its a really fun challenge and, maybe, in the future, I'll have the balls to put the rest of me in these photos instead of just my feet. But hey....y'gotta start somewhere right??
4. My camera and I are closer now. Bonding with your camera and experimenting leads to really cool shots....and some mistakes. But that's all about learning as you go.
I also had 2 more movies slated to review, but after look at them and getting some shit from Matthew about how long & wordy they were, I decided to save you an eyeball workout.
Maybe, for the next Friday the 13th, I'll bring some ideas back instead of waiting until next Halloween.
Which brings us current, right?
HI!! Happy Friggin' Middle of November!!
Shit.
This part of the year shouldn't even have separate month names since now they're just referred to as The Holidays.
Sears started doing their Xmas layaway commercials on Reconsidering Columbus Day....even going so far as to mention "Santa" by name. bleh.
And now those stupid overstock.com commercials have started singing at us while we're watching The Walking Dead.
Seriously, between that show and Dexter this season, I've had tv orgasms going for the past two weeks or so.
Have recently started watching Psych too which has given me fits of laughter.
Netflix is a beautiful thing.
ALSO, picked up Sims 3 on xbox360 and have lived/died through Dusty Bibles as a trial to get familiar with silly controls and limitations that are a little different than the mac/pc version.
Now, I'm working on a SheHulk character who is actually green, favorite color is purple, she's a genius, brave, athletic, and hot headed. She's a badass.
Last weekend, we attended Chrystal & Chad's lovely wedding.
It looked a lot like this:

This weekend, we're shippin' up to Boston for Matthew's birthday weekend - going with friends and meeting up with some folks we know up there. Good times are abound. We head out tomorrow so I'll be sure to update you on Monday how the trip went & share some of the deets.
